Surveyor Profile

Frank Jackson is an independent marine surveyor and brings a lifetime of experience of the sea, ships and boats to his profession.

On completion of his apprenticeship, Frank served as a deck officer in the merchant navy for 14 years sailing on general cargo vessels, bulk carriers, containerships and oil tankers.

His experience with small craft includes preparing sail training yachts for offshore and ocean passages and operating his own sailing cruiser.
He has been surveying small craft since 1991.

Frank has acted for clients in regard to damage to dockside installations, damage to cargo and damage to small craft.

Frank holds professional indemnity insurance and also his own personal accident insurance to cover work in shipyards and docks.
